Our story
Built by a lawn care company, not a tech company
Grasslytics started because we were tired of the advice our own customers were getting online. Generic articles. One-size-fits-all calendars. Product recommendations from people who have never touched a spreader.
We have been caring for lawns in Northern Virginia for over a decade. We know what tall fescue needs in zone 7a in September. We know that the soil in Prince William County is heavy clay and that changes everything about how you fertilize. We know that dollar spot shows up every August when humidity spikes and nitrogen is low.
We built Grasslytics to put that knowledge into an app that anyone can use. Not a chatbot that guesses. Not a generic calendar. An AI trained on real lawn care expertise that looks at your photo, knows your soil, and tells you exactly what to do and what to buy this week.
Every recommendation in this app is something we would tell a customer standing in their yard.
— The Grasslytics team
Every product recommendation is one we have used ourselves. Every task in the monthly plan is timed to the Mid-Atlantic growing season. Every scan diagnosis is checked against conditions we see in the field every week.
We do not sell products. We do not take commissions. We do not have affiliate links. When we tell you to buy Prodiamine 65 WDG, it is because it is the best pre-emergent on the market, not because someone paid us to say it.
Grasslytics is how we think lawn care should work: specific, honest, and built by people who actually do this for a living.
